2017 is the year of the corporate social justice Super Bowl ad.

While some focused on immigration, Audi wanted to rub everyone’s collective nose in “equal pay” for men and women.

The ad features a girl racing a homemade race car to victory, but argues she is “worth less” in the eyes of the corporate world.

“Audi of America is committed to equal pay for equal work,” the ad concludes. “Progress is for everyone.”

But equality apparently hasn’t reached the company’s board of management yet.

Reviewing the company’s website, six male (and white!) faces stare back at you:

Audi’s board of management includes Professor Rupert Stadler, Dr. Bernd Martens, Professor h. c. Thomas Sigi, Axel Strotbek, Dr. Dietmar Voggenreiter, and Professor Dr. -Ing Hubert Waltl.

Voggenreiter was the latest addition — in 2015.
