Hillary Clinton isn’t getting over losing the presidential election to Donald Trump anytime soon, and she’s not about to concede the stage just because Democrats want her to.

Clinton began her speech to Thursday’s Medgar Evers College commencement by invoking God, and lamenting she traveled only a short distance to the school in New York City, and not from Washington, D.C.

“This is the day the Lord has made,” the failed candidate said. “Let us rejoice and be glad in it!”

She continued, “This is the day of graduation, commencement, beginning,” saying it slowly.

“And I am deeply honored and delighted to be part of this ceremony. When I was here last year, someone asked if I would come back and speak and commencement.

“I said yes,” she continued, with a bit of a drawl. “I wish I had flown in from the White House, but I’m just as happy to be here anyway,” she told grads.

According to The Hill, Clinton told attendees she’s “had a few setbacks in [her] life…”

“And losing an election is pretty devastating, especially considering who I lost to,” she said.
