Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is still flying in planes, despite her call to end air travel in the name of saving the planet.

The Bronx socialist fled the media through Reagan National Airport on Tuesday as they tried to get her to answer questions about a Federal Election Commission complaint about use of PAC funds.

Fox News aired video showing the “climate change” campaigner Ocasio-Cortez attempting to get away from reporters:

“Do you have any comment on the FEC violation filed against your office?” the reporter asked.

“There is no violation. There’s no violation,” Ocasio-Cortez responded.

“Do you think that’s a sign of you taking dark money?” the reporter followed up.

“No,” the socialist congresswoman responded.

The irony, of course, is that despite claiming to be green, she’s still traveling on those gas-guzzling, carbon-spewing airplanes.

The congresswoman took a Twitter lashing from Green Peace founder Patrick Moore on Saturday, where he blasted Ocasio-Cortez’s defense of using planes in the world “as it is”.

“Living in the world as it is isn’t an argument against working towards a better future,” Cortez responded to criticisms that she enjoys the luxuries of a capitalist society.

Moore opened fire.

“The ‘world as it is’ has the option of taking the subway rather than a taxi,” he tweeted in response.

“Option of Amtrak rather than plane, option of opening windows rather than A/C. You’re just a garden-variety hypocrite like the others. And you have ZERO expertise at any of the things you pretend to know,” he wrote.

Moore was harsh to Cortez several days ago, as well.

Cortez had lashed out at critics of the Green New Deal, demanding that if they don’t like her plan, they should “come up with your own ambitious, on-scale proposal to address the global climate crisis.”

She went on to dismiss them, adding, “Until then, we’re in charge – and you’re just shouting from the cheap seats.

“Pompous little twit,” Moore responded.

“You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get the food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating,” he wrote.

“You would bring about mass death.”

Moore’s Twitter bio says he backs “science and logic, not sensation and fear.”
