The Clinton News Network stooped to a new low on Wednesday when a graphic banner on the screen questioned whether President Trump is the country’s “bigot in chief”.

Here’s the moment:

“Ahead, why is President Trump showing sympathy for white nationalists and other hate groups? One editorial board of a big paper calling the president America’s bigot in chief,” Poppy Harlow said before teasing an upcoming segment.

The network previously scrutinized the president’s ice cream consumption.

During a segment in May, anchor Brooke Baldwin brought up how the president reportedly receives “two scoops of ice cream when everyone else gets one.”

“This little nugget came out of this Time magazine piece apparently the president gets two scoops, you know, everyone else around the table gets one,” Baldwin said.

“PRESIDENT GETS 2 SCOOPS OF ICE CREAM, EVERYONE ELSE GETS ONE,” the graphic read on the screen.

The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza responded, “The broader point they were trying to make in the article is the White House staff has adapted to Donald Trump’s tastes.

“So when everyone else gets water, he gets a Diet Coke. When everybody gets one scoop of ice cream, he gets two,” Cillizza said.

The reporter said his two children would “gladly be president” if they could get the same deal.

During a February press conference, Trump announced that he was changing his nickname for CNN.

Trump told CNN reporter Jim Acosta, “I’m changing it from fake news.”

As Acosta asked a question, Trump continued, “Very fake news,” as the room — including Acosta — burst out into laughter.

Trump went on to tell the media that “the public doesn’t believe you people anymore.”
