The Associated Press tweeted a story about the alleged killing spree by Kori Ali Muhammad in Fresno, California today, but the news service translated the attacker’s “Allah Akbar” into English.

“Fresno police say suspect in triple slaying told them he hates white people, shouted ‘God is great’ before killings,” the AP reported.
The translation muddies the fact that he reportedly invoked the Muslim god Allah.

Three people are dead in a shooting spree in downtown Fresno on Tuesday, and the suspect was wanted in connection to the Motel 6 killing last week, the Fresno Police Department said.
Kori Ali Muhammad, 39, shouted “Allahu Akbar” as police tackled him to the ground after the shootings which were spread over four locations, Police Chief Jerry Dyer said.
The victims appeared to be random, Dyer said.
Why would the AP alter what the killer allegedly said, except to be politically correct, or hide facts?
