A Florida woman faces disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges after employees at a McDonald’s in Vero Beach claim she flipped out over her order.

Maguire Marie McLaughlin went through the drive-thru at around 4 a.m. on New Year’s morning and “ordered a large amount of food,” according to the River County Sheriff’s Office.

The 19-year-old then paid for the meal and requested “one flavor of every dipping sauce,” at which point an employee informed her the sauces cost 25 cents each. That triggered an argument and profanity laced tirade that prompted the manager to call the police, WPEC reports.

The responding deputy wrote in a report:

I made contact with the driver, Maguire McLaughlin, who was in an irate state. McLaughlin began yelling profanities at your affiant and advised of the following:

Prior to my arrival, she ordered a large amount of food through the drive thru window. Upon paying for the food, she requested dipping sauces from the employee. The employee advised McLaughlin that dipping sauce costs 25 cents at which point a verbal altercation ensued. McLaughlin further state that she will be getting the sauce by whatever means necessary, however, could not specify what she meant by that.

The deputy allegedly smelled alcohol on McLaughlin’s breath and reported “her eyes were glossy and speech was slurred.”

The McDonald’s manager, Beverly Keever, told the officer McLaughlin was scaring employees with her threats, prompting the call to police.

“Per Keever, McLaughlin began yelling profanities at several employees stating that she would ‘rob’ the establishment if she doesn’t get her dipping sauce,” the officer wrote. “Several employees were distraught by McLaughlin’s actions and Keever advised that she was in fear for her own well being through the course of the disturbance.”

Donovan Keever, who was working the drive-thru window at the time, confirmed the sequence of events and the officer arrested McLaughlin on the spot.

She wasn’t exactly loving it.

“McLaughlin was subsequently taken into custody for disorderly conduct and placed in mechanical restraints. As I attempted to escort her to my agency patrol vehicle, McLaughlin began locking her legs refusing to walk forward,” according to the police report.

“As I attempted to place her in the rear of my patrol vehicle she proceeded to place her legs in the door jamb and refused to get inside. Lieutenant Luther and I had to forcibly take her to the ground and place her in a hobble restraint device in order to place her in the rear of my vehicle.”

McLaughlin’s roommate, Nicholas Gallo, reportedly took care of her car.

Deputies hauled the teen to Indian River County Jail, where she was charged and posted a $1,000 bond.

She was out on bail by 1 p.m. the same day and now awaits a court date later this month, Fox News reports.
