Hillary Clinton is poised to give a speech today supposedly tying Donald Trump to the Ku Klux Klan, but she likely won’t address the $20,000 the group says it gave her.

“For the KKK, Clinton is our choice,” Will Quigg, a Grand Dragon in a California branch of the KKK, said in April.

“She is friends with the Klan,” Quigg said. “A lot of people don’t realize that. She’s friends with Senator Byrd. He’s been an Exulted Cyclops in the Klan. He’s been King Kleagle.”

He told Vocativ, “In the Bible, it says when you pray, pray in a closed, dark place by yourself,” Quigg said. “Do not pray on the street corners where people can see you … that’s why I got $20,000 together and sent it to Hillary Clinton’s campaign anonymously.”

Quigg appeared on camera and couldn’t say enough good things about Clinton — while slamming Donald Trump.

“The KKK endorses Hillary Clinton,” Quigg declared.

“All this stuff she’s saying now, she’s saying so she can get into office, okay?

“She doesn’t care about illegal immigrants. She doesn’t,” Quigg said. “She’s acting like she does so she can get into office.

“And once she’s into the office, then she’ll implement her policies. She’s a Democrat. The Klan has always been a Democratic organization,” he said.

Quigg insisted his statements were not intended to help Donald Trump.

“I could care less about Donald Trump. He’s a millionaire. He’s a businessman. He’s not a politician. He couldn’t run this country more than he could run a county,” Quigg said.

The Klan leader made similar statements in March.

He told The Telegraph, “We want Hillary Clinton to win.”

He added, “She is telling everybody one thing, but she has a hidden agenda. She’s telling everybody what they want to hear so she can get elected, because she’s Bill Clinton’s wife, she’s close to the Bushes. [But] once she’s in the presidency, she’s going to come out and her true colors are going to show.”

Quigg said, “Border policies are going to be put in place. Our second amendment rights [favouring gun ownership] that she’s saying she’s against now, she’s not against. She’s just our choice for the presidency.”
