Hillary Clinton was for Vladimir Putin before she was against him.
Among the new trove of Clinton emails released by Wikileaks is one in which she says Bill Clinton was “very interested” in appearing with Putin.
“Bill,” she wrote to State Department employee William Burns, “My husband cannot to w PM Putin in mid-April because of his schedule, but he would be very interested in doing such events w the PM in the future.
“Will you pls pass on to the Russians?”
It was signed, “Thx. HRC.”
Senior advisor Jake Sullivan was CC’ed on the email.
Despite courting the Russians in 2010, Clinton has now sought to portray them as a boogeyman in the 2016 election.
Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook called Donald Trump a “Kremlin puppet” on Sunday.
