An Oregon ice cream shop has been feeling the heat since it created a special flesh-colored flavor to raise money for Planned Parenthood.

Portland’s What’s The Scoop? ice cream shop announced a “Taste of Victory” flavor earlier this month to honor the pro-abortion organization and its “big wins with the government this year,” Fox 12 reports.

Planned Parenthood ice creamStrangely, the ice cream contains bits of strawberries and chunks of white chocolate — which some say resembles flesh and bones.

And they think Planned Parenthood’s “victory,” in fact, is the triumph of the adult physician over the child.

The ice cream shop described it this way on Facebook:

THE TASTE OF VICTORY, a limited-edition ice cream created exclusively for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon, combines fresh Oregon strawberries with white chocolate freckles!

“I’m probably getting 12 to 15 every half hour to an hour, the phone is ringing quite often,” says What’s the Scoop owner Jodie Ostrovsky regarding the people calling to voice their dissatisfaction with the move.

The calls were characterized as “threats and insults” that stem from a pro-life group posting about the fundraiser online. None of them have been “physical threats,” Ostrovsky admits.

“We hope these threats won’t go beyond hateful speech, and we do try to recognize that these people have a point of view,” according to Ostrovsky. “I don’t agree with it, and they seem ill-informed for most part. It’s not as scary as last year, but it still feels like we’re being attacked.”

The ice cream shop certainly hasn’t been coy about its helping Planned Parenthood.

Life News notes What’s The Scoop? was promoting the abortion-inspired flavor the same week as “two top Planned Parenthood doctors were caught on tape bragging how they harvest baby parts.”

The abortion giant rushed to its friend’s defense, issuing a statement saying:

We are grateful for local small businesses like What’s the Scoop? that support our mission to protect women’s health. If these bullies were truly committed to reducing the number of unintended pregnancies, they would work with Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon and our allies to increase access to affordable birth control and comprehensive sex education.
