MSNBC’s constant coverage of Russia’s behavior took a hilarious turn Thursday night when a mystery glitch struck “Hardball,” causing guest David Ignatius of the Washington Post to repeat “Russia” numerous times before the screen went black.

The tech freeze caused him to repeat it some 28 times, according to our count.

After several seconds of the dark screen — with only the scrolling headlines and time still visible — host Chris Matthews reappeared and continued with another topic.
