Nevada Congresswoman Dina Titus wants to “impeach the bastard right now” but she’s urging Democrats to focus on voting him out of office in 2020, just in case.

During a recent fundraiser in The Silver State, Titus railed against Trump to a roaring applause from Nevada Democrats championing the “First in the West” primary set for February 22, 2020.

“My favorite one was the lady who flipped off the president and then got elected,” Titus said, referring to the recent election results. “I mean, is that not poetic justice? She’s representing the district where his golf course is located. It just doesn’t get any better than that.”

“You know, we’ve accomplished a lot, but we can’t just rest on a laurels. We know we have a lot to do for 2020. You have heard me say how many times this is the most important election of your lifetime,” Titus continued.

“Well, this time I really, really, really mean it because it is. The heart and soul of our nation is on the ballot and it’s going to be up to you all,” she said.

Titus referenced Juli Briskman, who gained notoriety in 2017 when a White House photographer snapped a picture of the then 50-year-old flipping the middle finger to the Trump motorcade as she rode along the roadway on a bike. The former government contractor lost her job because she posted the picture to her social media account and it violated her employer’s social media policy, CBS News reports.

Briskman then decided to run for a seat on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors in Virginia, where she defeated an eight-year Republican incumbent for her first term in elected office.

“Briskman’s victory came on a night that also saw Democrats prevailing in Virginia’s statehouse,” according to the news site. “Democrats won control of Virginia’s House and Senate, erasing the thin majorities held by Republicans. Democrats will hold all three branches in Virginia’s government for the first time in a generation.”

Regardless, Briskman’s race and other Democrat victories last week has Titus fired up, and she’s directing her hostilities toward Trump.

“That’s why our caucus is so important. It’s the first step to getting this con artist out of the White House,” she said.

“You know, frankly I think the House is going to do it and I’d like to impeach the bastard right now, but you know,” Titus said with a shrug, laughing as the crowd went wild. “But we’re not sure what the Senate is going to do so it’s up to us to be ready to take him out in November 2020.”

The video of Titus’ remarks came from a fundraiser at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas for the Nevada Democratic Party that featured 14 top Democrats running for president, but KLAS pointed out she also used the same derogatory descriptor for Trump at a rally for Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders.

Titus told reporters at the Bellagio she “kind of got caught up in the moment” and called Trump a bastard because it was “just the first term that came to the top of my head.”

Despite the ongoing impeachment hearings in the House, Titus told the Las Vegas Review-Journal last month that she’s convinced Trump is guilty.

Closed-door testimony from Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor “was damning,” she said, alleging “it clearly established that there was a quid pro quo.”

“Most of my constituents say ‘get on with it. This guy’s got to go,” Titus said.
