Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez fancies herself as a socialist revolutionary, but she stumbled badly when asked a simple question about her would-be leader if she’s elected.

During an appearance on CNN Wednesday, Cortez was asked about Nancy Pelosi.

“I think absolutely right now, she is the leader of— no no, um, she is Speaker, or rather Leader Pelosi— hopefully we’ll see— she’s ah— she’s the current leader of the party and— the party absolutely does have its leadership in the House and Senate,” she said.

Thanks for the civics lesson.

The House and Senate have always had leaders.
