Are Internet sleuths proving that Ralph Northam is, indeed, in the yearbook photo he apologized for, only to backtrack?

The Virginia governor apologized after a photo showing man in blackface and a man in a Klan robe appeared in the 1984 EVMS yearbook.

The following day, he backtracked, and claimed he wasn’t either of the men in the racist costumes.

But photos comparing clothing and the subject’s hand may indicate that Northam, in fact, is in the photo.

First, the pants.

Zero Hedge posted side-by-side pictures of the blackface wearer, and a photo of Northam on another page of the yearbook, seemingly wearing the same plaid pants. Look:

The photo in question features a group of boys standing in front of a car below the title “Hi-Y” (a YMCA boys-only high-school program). The caption below indicates that Ralph Northam was the group’s president, while a boy standing on the right side is wearing what appears to be an identical pair of pants to the figure in blackface in Northam’s controversial 1984 yearbook page.

It is possible that is either Northam, or the individual knows him and borrowing them.

If that’s not enough, Twitter user Tim Young posted several photos of Northam holding a microphone more recently, and compared them to the Klansman holding a beer can.

Is Northam lying about not appearing in the photo and is, in fact, the one in the Klan robe?
