During an appearance on “Hannity” Thursday night, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump hit out at the outrageous budget put forward by House Speaker Paul Ryan and the Republicans.

“The budget is very disappointing. You look at what’s going on and you look at Paul Ryan and how easy it seems for the Democrats to get whatever they want. There’s never any threat, there’s never any negotiation it seems and it just gets bigger and bigger.

“You look at our budget process and it’s a disaster, it’s a joke. If it weren’t so hurtful, you’d all start laughing right now. It’s very, very sad. I don’t think they know anything about a budgetary process, I don’t think so,” Trump said.

Hannity ran through a litany of progressive programs Republicans are continuing to fund in the budget, and in some cases, are actually increasing.

“What is it about Republicans that they’re so unwilling — they have this inordinate fear that if they use their constitutional power of the purse and the president shuts down the government and won’t fund the government, that they’ll get blamed for it,” Hannity said. “It seems to make them cower.”

Trump found it hard to believe Republican leaders knew these provisions existing and approved them anyway.

“I have to believe they do,” Hannity said.

“How disappointing,” Trump responded.
