Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy hosted a town hall on Wednesday in Louisiana that was disrupted by unruly left-wing agitators who screamed at a pastor and heckled him during his opening prayer.

As the pastor began to pray, attendees repeatedly yelled “church and state!” and jeered him.

When the room got quiet, one man shouted, “Amen! We’re done. Shut up!”

Townhall reports:

The organized Left showed up in full throat, behaving boorishly before the Senator even took to the podium. They shouted and heckled throughout a pastor’s opening prayer, then many refused to stand or even maintain any semblance of decorum during the pledge of allegiance, which was led by a local veteran.

Many of the attendees stood and participated, while some refused to recognize the flag.

“Get on with it!” one person shouted.

One woman who wouldn’t stand was so enraged, she screamed and slapped her legs during the recitation.

Another in a headscarf held an American flag upside down.

The mainstream media claims all of these protests at Republican town halls are just grassroots movements happening organically, when in reality they are largely being organized by a group founded by a former Clinton staffer who has ties to many leftist organizations.
