Addressing the NRA as the first sitting president since Ronald Reagan, President Donald Trump took a victory lap.
But looking on to 2020, Trump mocked one rumored contender: Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
“I have a feeling that in the next election, you’re gonna be swamped with candidates, but you’re not gonna be wasting your time.
“You’re gonna have plenty of those Democrats coming over and you’re gonna say, ‘No, sir, no thank you — no ma’am.’
“Perhaps ma’am, it may be Pocahontas, remember that,” Trump said as the 10,000 attendees laughed at the nickname for the senator who’s claimed Native American heritage because of her “high cheek bones.”
“And she is not big for the NRA, that I can tell you,” Trump added.
