House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi is laying low as Georgia 6th U.S. House District voters head to the polls today.
While many elected leaders, including President Trump, are urging their side to go out and vote, Pelosi has been silent all day on Twitter.
She’s tweeted about the Capitol maintenance worker who died today. And she, once again, demanded Trump release his tax returns.
See her timeline here.
But she’s keeping her fingers off candidate Jon Ossoff today, at least publicly, perhaps because he won’t live up to expectations.
Conservatives, meanwhile, have done their best to tie Ossoff to Pelosi.
The Congressional Leadership Fund super PAC released an ad, calling Ossoff “Pelosi’s yes man.”

The ad claims Ossoff is on Pelosi’s side when it comes to higher spending, more taxes and the Iran nuclear deal.
On Monday, the Washington Times the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee was “nervous” about the race.
“Breaking: Georgia Democrats’ early vote lead PLUNGES,” an email from the DCCC read, according to the paper. “We’re nervous. Republicans just had their best day yet — and turned out more voters in Georgia than Democrats did on Friday.”
“It’s a crushing blow to our efforts to hand Trump a MASSIVE Loss,” the email said.
UPDATE: Even after the election and Ossoff garnered 48% of the vote — the most of any candidate, but not enough to avoid a June runoff — Pelosi has remained silent.
The Democratic Leader hasn’t even congratulated her candidate.
For his part, Ossoff called his plurality a “victory for the ages.”
