Were the lights too bright? Was she on something?

Either way, the failed Democratic candidate for president recently gave a wild-eyed endorsement of a group promoting women in politics.

And in true Hillary Clinton fashion, she did it by complaining about how hard it is to be a woman in the political world.

“You know, it’s no secret that being a woman in politics can be frustrating,” she began, flashing wild eyes in the video to “Emerge California.”

“The only way to get sexism out of politics is to get more women into politics,” she declared moments later.

Calling for more women to be elected to office, she contends they are “more likely to reach across the aisle to build consensus — something we desperately need right now.”

Clinton argued by having women at the table, a perspective is being included “that might others go overlooked.”

Clinton said she’s “hopeful” about what the group can accomplish in 2018 and 2020.

“Here’s to the next chapter of electing women to office,” she ended, again flashing wild eyes.
