What’s wrong with Nancy Pelosi?

The House Speaker has made it a habit of holding public bill signings, undoubtedly to present similar optics to those of the president of the United States.

But during one this week, the 79-year-old began signing in the wrong spot.

After giving remarks about the bill to end U.S. involvement in the Yemen civil war, Pelosi sat down to sign the resolution with a number of pens.

After signing an “N,” the Speaker looked closer and said, “Oops, I did it in the wrong place,” turning to House Minority Leader Steny Hoyer.

“I did it in the vice president’s place,” she added.

“Well, he’ll just have to turn an ‘N’ into a, a, something,” she said, apparently meaning an “M.” Pence signs bills as the President of the Senate.

The bill signing events have proved to be troublesome for Pelosi.

In February, the House Speaker was giving remarks at a similar ceremony, and wished reporters a “Happy Thanksgiving” on Valentine’s Day.

The woman second in line to the presidency didn’t correct herself.
