House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and a Democrat senator both hinted at new investigations of President Trump over his response to the coronavirus outbreak.

On Sunday, Pelosi appeared on CNN and claimed the president is “fiddling” while “people are dying.”

“His denial at the beginning was deadly,” she claimed.

She said there needs to be “testing, testing, testing” before the economy begins to reopen.

“I don’t know what the scientists are saying to him. I don’t know what the scientists said to him— when did the president know about this and what did he know?” she wondered.

“What did he know and when did he know it?” she asked, invoking the similar Watergate question.

“That’s for an after-action review. But as the president fiddles, people are dying,” she said.

Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy invoked the impeachment subject of Ukraine.

“Michigan is the new Ukraine,” Murphy tweeted, referring to the conspiracy theory that Trump intentionally withheld aid and equipment from Michigan due to the governor’s attacks.
