I guess that threatening Supreme Court Justices isn’t enough to get a Democratic Senator censured even with a Republican-majority Senate.

Schumer had threatened the Supreme Court Justices while they were having a hearing concerning abortion. Schumer was having a rally outside the Supreme Court and said, “I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Our spineless Republican Senators are not brave enough to even talk about the resolution to condemn and censor Schumer. It was introduced by Senator Josh Hawley on March 5th and is currently with the ethics committee and they’re doing nothing.

The senators on the ethics committee are James Lankford (Oklahoma), Christopher Coons (Delaware), Pat Robbers (Kansas), Brian Schatz (Hawaii), James Risch (Idaho) and Jeanne Shaheen
(New Hampshire).

If you Google “censuring Chuck Schumer” you won’t find any links newer than about a week old. I think you can assume the issue is officially dead.

Back on March 9th, dozens of conservatives also signed a letter calling for Schumer to be censured. These conservatives include former South Carolina Senator Jim DeMint and former Ronald Reagan campaign adviser, Ed Rollins.

The letter stated, “Schumer’s threatening words were unmistakable, unprecedented and unacceptable…Schumer unmistakably meant to threaten Justice Gorsuch and Kavanauh.”

Once again, as we all know, Democrats can pretty much say and do what they want with impunity.
