Leaving little doubt that the fight over Act 10 and the historic recall election of 2012 will play a prominent role in his upcoming presidential campaign, Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign-in-waiting has released a nearly two-minute video on the “Battle of Wisconsin.”
Featured prominently are images of the Act 10 protests, the storming of the state capitol, as well as news interviews from Cong. Paul Ryan (R-Janesville) touting the courage under fire Walker showed during it all. The video ends with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow acknowledging that the recall might have ended up being “the biggest politics story of all.”
The final image you see is the shadow of Walker in a very JFK-esque pose, as he readies himself to speak.
