An illegal immigrant who has appeared in at least one Hillary Clinton campaign ad was photographed disrupting a Jeb Bush town hall meeting yesterday.

Rafael Lopez was seen wearing a SEIU purple union t-shirt at a North Last Vegas stop for Bush.

Here he is featured on the Las Vegas Sun website:

Lopez was featured in a Hillary campaign ad telling his story about living as an illegal immigrant in America.

“I came to the United States when I was one year old. This is the only country I’ve ever known. When I was 15 years old, both my parents and I received a notice of deportation, so we lived in fear of being deported everyday. Thankfully, I got some relief, but my parents didn’t. It made me fight harder because I was not about to let my parents be separated,” Lopez says in the campaign ad.

Lopez also appeared alongside Clinton during a May campaign event with so-called DREAMers.

The Latin Times reported:

One Dreamer, Rafael Lopez, who describe himself as transgendered, asked Clinton if she would lift the one year deadline currently in place for asylum seekers. She dodged the question, but pledged to increase access for “vulnerable populations” to legal representation. She also promised to reform the current ICE detention and possibly grant more bail arrangements to certain classes of immigrants who are waiting for deportation hearings.

And Fox 5 reported:

Clinton was surrounded by six Dreamers, who said their lives have been affected by the immigration system. Among them was Astrid Silva, who was mentioned by President Barack Obama during a speech last November.

Another participant, Rafael Lopez, said his parents are facing deportation.

“(Clinton) understands the issues around immigration and how it affects different communities,” Lopez said.

Yesterday, Lopez was a part of a group that began chanting “Black Lives Matter” while Bush was attempting to take questions from the audience. Bush eventually left during their chants.

The Washington Post reports Bush met with “Black Lives Matter” activists prior to his event. It’s unknown whether Lopez was a part of that group.
