New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez continues to make mind-boggling comments.

During an interview with Univision’s Jorge Ramos, the socialist was asked how American taxpayers would pay for the multi-billion dollar “Medicare for all” plan that she and other far-left Democrats support.

“You just… pay for it,” she said with a weird pause.

When Ramos pointed out that critics say the socialist program would be “more expensive” than the current system, Ocasio-Cortez provided a rambling response that completely veered off topic.

“People often say, like, how are you going to pay for it and I find the question so puzzling because ‘How do you pay for something that’s more affordable? How do you pay for cheaper rent?’ You just pay for it,” she said. “We’re paying more now.”

According to a study from the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, the “Medicare for all” plan would increase government health care spending by $32.6 trillion over 10 years.

Not allowing facts and data to get in the way of her talking points, Ocasio-Cortez launched into another diatribe about handing out more free stuff to people.

“In a modern, moral and wealthy society, no person should be too poor to live,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “We should treat healthcare, housing, and education as rights.”

She added: “I believe we should guarantee a basic level of human dignity in America.”

Later in that same interview, Ocasio-Cortez said it’s a “no-brainer” that President Donald Trump should be impeached.

“I mean, yeah. To me, it’s a no-brainer,” Ocasio-Cortez said, without providing any evidence that the president broke the law.

Last week, Ocasio-Cortez sent out a bizarre email demanding Democrats “push back” against Republicans and Trump, who she referred to as “cold-hearted monsters.”

In a very lengthy email, the self-described socialist vowed to protect voters from “white supremacist forces” that she claims are terrorizing Americans under Trump.

“Six days from now, we can defeat the brutal white supremacist forces of anti-Semitism, anti-immigrant nativism, and racism. We can hold accountable the cold-hearted monsters who have repeatedly attacked our health care,” the email stated.

Later in the email, Ocasio-Cortez argued it’s time to push back against white supremacists, bigots, and Islamophobes, which could be a reference to Trump.

Prior to that, the socialist darling said her plan for Congress, when she likely arrives next year, will be to divide people; or, as she put it, “segmenting” them.

“It’s a different kind of strategy, and what it is is really about organizing— and, and really thinking about that word ‘organizing,’ segmenting people, being strategic in their action,” she revealed.

Ocasio-Cortez has a long history of making bizarre comments, and she has even hinted at taking her socialist ideas with her to mount a presidential run in the future.
