The fascist tactics being used by the leftist anti-Donald Trump protesters now apparently include animal cruelty.

April FosterFox 4 reports a woman protesting Trump’s appearance in Kansas City, Missouri last week has now been identified and arrested after police say she slapped a horse that was there to maintain crowd control.

Police were attempting to move the mob of protesters out of the street and onto the sidewalk as two mounted officers approached the crowd.

That’s when, cops say,  29-year-old April J. Foster “approached an officer and his horse, Dan, and began screaming in the horse’s face in an attempt to scare him.

“When that did not work, Foster reportedly slapped the horse in the face with an open hand.”

A Kansas City Star photographer captured the unhinged human being screaming at the animal:

After abusing the horse, the woman allegedly fled to the back of the crowd and officers were unable to locate her.

The animal rights group PETA condemned Foster’s alleged assault of the horse.

Fox 4 reports PETA Senior Vice President Daphna Nachminovitch released a statement on the incident, saying:

All animals feel pain, stress and fear just like we do, and they deserve our respect and protection.

Horses are highly sensitive prey animals, and this poor horse was without a doubt already under a tremendous amount of stress as a result of the chaos, the crowds, the deafening noise of the angry protesters, and more.

PETA commends the person who called the tip line so that this woman’s apparent cruelty to this horse does not go unpunished.

Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forté defended the use of pepper spray by officers and commended their actions.

“They showed great restraint,” Forté tells the Star. “You get to the point where you take control or you let the mob take control.”

Foster was identified after an anonymous caller phoned in a tip to the TIPS hotline.

She was charged with abuse to a police service animal. She was released on $5,000 bond and is ordered to appear in court on May 4th.

Police say there were four other arrests during the anti-Trump protests.

Foster spoke to Fox 4 off camera and she said she’s prepared to defend herself and said there’s “two sides to every story.”
