Scherie Murray has had enough of Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The freshman congresswoman’s penchant for self-promotion and reverence for political stardom is a disaster for residents of New York’s 14th Congressional District, so the self-made, legal immigrant from Jamaica is launching a campaign to replace her.

Murray released a video announcing her campaign for Congress on Wednesday titled “Bridges” – an apt analogy for what she’s hoping to rebuild from the destruction left in the wake of AOC’s radical and divisive politics.

“I’ve built bridges between constituents in our community and elected officials that represent them, between different nationalities and races, and between political parties. Lawmakers should be working together to build a stronger, safer, more prosperous America, but your representative in Washington chooses self-promotion over service, conflict over constituents, resistance over assistance,” Murray said in the video, which featured clips of AOC’s rants and opposition to an Amazon headquarters in New York City.

“Queens and the Bronx need someone who will create jobs instead of turning them away,” Murray said. “Someone to unite the fight in Washington and help you build a bridge to better future for yourself instead of pushing for a pay raise for herself.”

The motivating video shows the Republican challenger greeting people on the streets and metros, interspersed with images of the area’s iconic bridges and AOC’s appearances on late night shows.

Murray spoke about emigrating legally to the U.S. from Jamaica as a 9-year-old and working for the public transportation department as an intern. She earned a degree at a public university, and building a business around helping minorities secure jobs in media.

She also highlighted her important roles as a mother and community leader.

“I’ve been building bridges and crossing them my whole life,” she said.

“You deserve someone fighting for you, not fighting for the limelight. You deserve someone who will focus on immigration, infrastructure and education,” Murray said. “That’s why I’m running for Congress.

“I believe bridges are about connecting us, bringing people together, and getting us to where we need to go. Join me to unite the fight and build new bridges together.”

The video comes on the heels of AOC instigating fights with both Republicans and Democrats in Washington, including recent accusations that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is racist.

AOC used the same racist theme to liken the detention facilities for immigrants who cross the southern border illegally to Nazi death camps designed specifically to kill millions during World War II. AOC labeled the facilities “concentration camps,” a description adopted by a deranged Antifa member in Washington state who firebombed a Tacoma Immigration and Customs Enforcement center on Sunday.

The characterization and other inflammatory rhetoric sparked retorts from President Trump on Twitter over the weekend that urged AOC and other Justice Democrats to flee America if they don’t love their country.

The Trump tweets triggered predictable cries of racism from Democrats and ultimately forced Pelosi and House leaders to pass a resolution Tuesday in support of Ocasio-Cortez and Justice Democrats, just days after AOC publicly accused Pelosi herself of racism.

Ironically, Pelosi’s heated language on the floor of the House violated the same decorum rules she enforced to protect Obama during his presidency, and her number two, Steny Hoyer, was forced to find her comments out of order and ban the speaker of the House from speaking for the rest of the day.
