A street corner may be a more fitting place for the conspiracy rantings of Democrats.

Instead, they’re given a big microphone on cable news.

During an appearance on CNN this morning, Minnesota Congressman and Democratic National Committee Deputy Chair Keith Ellison explicitly stated there was “collusion” between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia.

“This is stunning when you think about it,” Ellison told Alisyn Camerota.

“Far worse than Watergate when you believe a hostile foreign power engaged in an attempt and with the collusion of the sitting administration…”

“Well, you don’t know that,” Camerota interjected.

“We don’t know it!” Ellison shot back, as Camerota continued, “There’s no evidence of collusion.”

“If people in the Trump administration are having meetings with Russian officials and it is around election time and we know Russia’s wanted to manip– turn this election to a certain direction, those meetings are important,” Ellison said.

“I’m not saying there was collusion. I’m saying those meetings indicate that there could be and I think that needs to be investigated.”

He added, “You see what I’m saying? I’m not making an accusation, I’m saying there’s ample evidence for an investigation.”
