An associate of notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman is laughing off claims his boss offered $100 million to kill or kidnap Donald Trump, currently Mexico’s most hated person.

elchapovsthedonaldJulio “El Tio” Martinez – not his real name – is apparently the right hand man to an El Chapo “security operative and … logistics specialist” named Aquiles, TeleSurTV.com reports.

Martinez told the news site that while it’s true El Chapo’s not a fan of The Donald, neither the crime boss nor anyone else has put a bounty on his head.

“Yes, we saw the story in various news outlets about the bounty that El Chapo supposedly put on Trump, and let me tell you the whole thing has made us laugh, but it has been exaggerated,” he said.

The insider went on to say most Mexicans, including El Chapo, agree that Trump is “too racist” and would attack migrants and minorities if elected president.

“Who wouldn’t want to see him dead?” Martinez questioned.

Trump’s comments about Mexicans took place before El Chapo’s second escape of maximum security prison July 11, Martinez said, when the king pin waltzed out of the facility through sophisticated one-mile tunnel.

“So yes, El Chapo told us they were very pissed off at Trump’s comments and him and other inmates commented that he should be shot in the head for being such and asshole and so stupid, and of course, jokingly it was mentioned that they would pay millions to have him killed or even kidnapped as to have a personal chat with him over his racial remarks.”

Martinez told the news site nobody would pay $100 million for such a “worthless person,” though he contends El Chapo has the funds and “much, much more.”

“Just image the tunnels he has on the border into the United States with rail tracks and everything,” Martinez said. “Just imagine how many tons of drugs can be smuggled through these tunnels on a daily basis. I leave that to you to imagine. The profits are huge.”

Martinez said the Sinaloa Cartel, El Chapo’s drug trafficking empire, isn’t too concerned Trump might win the general election next year, and noted the cartel is rooting for Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders.

“We really don’t believe he’ll win the elections, because we (Latinos) now have a strong voice in the United States and their vote counts, and we’ve commented here that we would like to see Bernie Sanders win,” he said.

The alleged Trump ransom is undoubtedly fueling sales of Donald Trump and El Chapo Halloween masks this year, which are a very hot commodities in Mexico and beyond, according to the Associated Press.

“Costume maker Caretas REV says prison jumpers and latex masks of the mustachioed, twice-escaped drug kingpin Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman are selling like hotcakes,” according to the news service. “Caretas, which operates a small factory in the city of Cuernavaca, has produced more than 2,600 ‘El Chapo’ masks this month, with many of them being exported to the United States and Canada.”

The Donald mask depicts him with his signature blond hairdo, eyebrows furled, and mouth agape as if he’s hurling insults.

“The Donald Trump one is also selling very well in the United States,” Caretas CEO Diego Esponda told the AP. “I mean, he is the most hated person right now in Mexico.”
