A newly released email from Hillary Clinton’s State Department records shows close aide Huma Abedin was involved in making funeral arrangements for her boss — in 2010.

Made public by Judicial Watch on Wednesday, the 2010 communication between aides for Bill and Hillary Clinton shows the group was concerned about their health — or at least thought they should be prepared if one of them died.

Ambassador and Clinton friend Capricia Marshall emailed Bill Clinton personal assistant Doug Band, Hillary chief-of-staff Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin on February 23, 2010.

“Everytime someone significant passes I am flooded with requests to speak to President Clinton/representative about his arrangements,” Marshall wrote.

“I assume dough that you are the point person on that — and possibly these plans are well prepared.”

Then she turned to Abedin.

“As well, Huma – I would make the same suggestion to you — for her it will be a little different — but still planning is necessary and best done when they are still with us.”

Hillary was 63 at the time.

“And once affirmed it will be very hard for someone to deny the type of ceremony she wanted – as well I understand that the President can request certain arrangement for her that she/her rep cannot (ie if you want the motorcade to go through DC – stop somewhere),” Marshall wrote to the trio.

Band responded less than four minutes later and thanked Marshall.

“Yes, we work with them regularly,” he wrote, likely referring to military representatives.

“Of course they want more planning they (sic?) we have. Happy to do whatever if its helpful,” he concluded.

The email does not indicate what role — if any — Chelsea Clinton would play in making arrangements for her parents.
