A bombshell email reveals a Reuters reporter shared a secret document from the Benghazi investigation committee with Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Reuters American investigative correspondent Mark Hosenball emailed Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta on April 21, 2015, telling him Hosenball had “a rather interesting document which outlines in detail the principal current objectives of the House Benghazi Committee,” and that he was willing to show it to Clinton campaign operatives, according to an email published by WikiLeaks.

“If you are anywhere near 1333 H in next day or two I might even show the document to you (I’m out on Thursday, however) though I am reluctant to hand out copies at this stage,” Hosenball wrote to Podesta.

1333 H Street is an office building that includes Thomson Reuters.

“It is a document which raises some questions about the bona fides of the committee’s investigation, rather than about anything specific a certain former SecState might have done,” he wrote.

The reporter then sought to plot strategically with Podesta.

“If this is something that you would not want to get involved in, if you had any alternative ideas as to who I ought to speak to I would welcome them,” Hosenball wrote to the campaign operative.

Podesta offered to share the information with Clinton attorney David Kendall and confidante Cheryl Mills.

“Please do. I put in a call to Kendall yesterday but they said he was out of town til Weds or Thurs,” Hosenball responded.

“I would love to talk to one or both of them about this. Many tks for any encouragement you could offer to that end.”

The reporter did not reveal in the email the contents of the Benghazi Committee document.
