The head of the supposed party of women is refusing to say he’d keep the only woman in leadership in her post after the 2018 elections.

DNC Chairman Tom Perez was asked twice on Fox News on Thursday if he would like Nancy Pelosi to remain in her House leadership post next year.

When asked a relatively straightforward question about one of his most important allies, Perez stuck to the talking points.

“There are several Democratic members of Congress who say you need new leadership — Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, time for a new day,” host Bill Hemmer said.

“Are you satisfied with their leadership?”

“We’re making real progress. Look at the 2017 elections here, Bill,” Perez responded, apparently unable to even concede he’s “satisfied” with the top Congressional Democrats.

He rattled off the talking points, saying Democrats are “leading with our values” and that they’ve “learned from our mistakes.”

Hemmer jumped in, “Is that a yes?”

“Without Nancy Pelosi, we wouldn’t have healthcare,” Perez said.

“So you are satisfied with her leadership,” Hemmer pressed. “I take it that’s a yes.”

Perez again punted.

“Well, you know what? We’re leading into the 2018 election cycle and we’re gonna win the Senate and the House,” he said.

“I can’t chalk that answer up to a yes…” Hemmer said as Perez grinned widely.
