DeJesus is currently serving time in Lackawanna County Prison for violating parole by abusing VanWert, and for firing a handgun inside the home of City VanWert, VanWert’s mother, the victim’s stepfather said.

Draper told police that VanWert asked her to “hold her phone” when she her home on Quincy Avenue to confront Boyer in a nearby alley. Draper said VanWert expected a fist fight, but never returned.

Police report the incident occurred around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Boyer has not yet secured an attorney Tuesday, according to WTAE.
