A Democratic strategist and Clinton ally apparently thinks it’s hilarious to mock someone who suffered from a very serious disease.

Adam Parkhomenko, who worked as a political advisor for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a video clip of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell falling while walking up steps.

McConnell suffered from polio as a child, and his legs are still partially paralyzed because of it.

Parkhomenko mocked McConnell for falling and snidely encouraged his followers to share his clip so that it could reach one million views, with the obvious goal of trying to embarrass the GOP lawmaker.

“Yesterday I posted this new found footage of Mitch McConnell standing up for America. 368,000 views overnight. Mitch McConnell does not want you to let this video get up to 1,000,000 views,” Parkhomenko wrote.

In July 2018, McConnell spoke at the Center for Strategic and International Studies about his fight against polio and working towards ensuring Congress provides financial support to combat the disease.

“McConnell’s diagnosis at age 2 occurred more than 10 years before a vaccine was even available. His symptoms included paralysis in part of his left leg, and at that time, the best his family could hope for was treatment through rehabilitation. He made periodic visits to Warm Springs, Georgia, home to a polio rehabilitation institute known for also treating President Franklin D. Roosevelt,” Roll Call reported.

Aside from disgustingly mocking McConnell, it’s ironic that Parkhomenko didn’t share any clips showing Hillary Clinton falling and tripping.

In March 2018, Clinton fell in a bathtub and broke her wrist while visiting India for a book tour.

On that same tour, Clinton tripped down a flight of stairs twice and needed help from two aides to make it down.

During the 2016 campaign, Clinton was forced to leave a 9/11 memorial early and was filmed literally collapsing on the curb while attempting to enter a van.

In the video clip, Secret Service agents can be seen literally holding her up and chunking her into the back of the vehicle.

Clinton took a few days off from the campaign trail to “rest” after the bizarre incident.

In February 2016, Clinton lost her balance while trying to walk up the steps of a home for ex-offenders and substance abusers on the grounds of the former Charlestown Navy Yard.

Unable to climb a few stairs on her own, several aides were forced to hold her up and help her make it up just a few steps.

During a campaign rally in 2016, Clinton needed help walking up one step to get onto the stage at a rally.

In the clip, an aide can be seen helping Clinton up the step and holding her hand while she tried to walk onto the stage.

Parkhomenko apparently didn’t think any of these clips of his former boss were worth sharing.
