Hillary Clinton is going to Canada, eh?

Bill and Hillary are going to be vacationing near Quebec starting today, The Canadian Press reports.

The political power couple, along with daughter Chelsea and her two children, will begin their vacation the Eastern Townships town of North Hatley on Sunday. They’ll be staying at the luxurious Manoir Hovey at the invitation of their friend, author Louise Penny. …

According to Penny, the Clinton’s intend to explore the region, enjoy the scenery and relax. She called on the media and public to respect the high-profile family’s privacy during their stay.

Here’s the locale, according to the Quebec Journal:

Prior to falling into the lap of luxury, Clinton tweeted about the violence in Charlottesville sparked by “white nationalists” and leftists.

“My heart is in Charlottesville today, and with everyone made to feel unsafe in their country,” she said.

She didn’t clarify if that meant those attacked and intimidated by Antifa, but she did call out “white supremacists.”

“Every minute we allow this to persist through tacit encouragement or inaction is a disgrace, & corrosive to our values,” she tweeted.

She didn’t demand a specific action in response.

“Now is the time for leaders to be strong in their words & deliberate in their actions,” she said before jetting to our neighbor to the north.
