California Congresswoman Maxine Waters thinks neurosurgeon Ben Carson is a dummy who is conspiring with President Trump to destroy America forever.

She doesn’t think Carson, who rose from the mean streets of Detroit to become the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital for nearly three decades, has the intelligence or temperament to lead a federal bureaucracy, Waters told MSNBC.

Carson somehow figured out how to operate on a baby in the womb, was the first to successfully separate twins conjoined at the back of the head, and currently holds more than 60 doctorate degrees, but Waters told host Joy Reid he’s just “not capable” of pushing papers for Uncle Sam.

Reid highlighted Waters’ recent letters to President Trump and Carson, the secretary of Housing and Urban Development, to complain about the administration’s plans to address homelessness in her district, and Carson fired back at Waters and her lack of manners.

“What would you say to him if he happens to have his TV on MSNBC this morning?” Reid asked Waters.

“Well, you know, I sent him a letter and he sent me a letter, you know, claiming that I had no manners, etcetera,” Waters said. “I basically said to my staff I really don’t have time to be bothered with somebody who doesn’t know the difference between REO and OEO. I mean, this guy just doesn’t have the background, the capability, the intelligence to do the job.

“He doesn’t know what he’s doing, he doesn’t are about this issue, he rises to the occasion to basically support this president any opportunity that he gets and so I’m gonna be so happy when they’re all out of here,” Waters said as Reid nodded in agreement.

“They’re undermining our democracy and they’ve being very destructive and I hope the American people can see that if we allow this president and his cabinet to get away with what they’re doing they will be destroying, you know, the presidency and that office forever,” Waters alleged.

The scuffle with Carson is only the latest nonsensical attack against the president’s only black cabinet member in recent years, following previous allegations of racism and threats directed at Carson.

In July 2017, shortly after Trump appointed Carson as HUD secretary, Waters promised to “take his ass apart” in the House Financial Services Committee she chairs.

“If he thinks when he comes before my committee where I am the ranking member of the financial services that I am going to give him a pass, I am going to take his ass apart,” Waters told the crowd at a ESSENCE Empowerment event.

A month later, Waters upped the ante to allege Carson, who is black, is actually a white nationalist.

“While the president was defending the white nationalists and the KKK and all those alt-right groups who were basically out there in Virginia,” Waters said of the 2017 Charlottesville Unite the Right rally, “literally beating and marching and ranting about Jews and black people.”

“But this is what the cabinet looks like, whether we talk about Mnuchin or Ben Carson, who’s over at HUD,” Waters said, according to Real Clear Politics. “If you think reclaiming my time that I did with Mnuchin, you wait ‘til Ben Carson comes.”
