The final report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller may be 10 times as long as the media is reporting.

Or the 80-year-old Maxine Waters may just be confused.

Speaking to reporters and supporters at the NAACP Image Awards, Waters was asked about a two-year investigation yielding a “four-page summary of a 300-page report?”

After likening the idea of impeachment to the “struggle” against apartheid in South Africa, Waters said, “This president has defined himself as a liar. He has committed over 8,000 lies in two years.

“Not only has he defined himself. He has shown us in so many ways, including his choosing of (Paul) Manafort to come and run his campaign. Manafort, who had been working with Putin and the Kremlin as they tried to exercise more power in the Ukraine,” she said.

Waters said “they” did that so Putin could have sanctions lifted so Russia could drill for oil in the Arctic.

“And so, no matter what this report is thus far, we have seen enough. We have seen right before our very eyes the obstruction of justice in so many ways. It’s not only the firing of (James) Comey,” but it was also a memo that was written about an alleged meeting at Trump tower “to undermine Hillary Clinton.”

“No matter what has been revealed thus far and there’s only four pages of what appears to be a report of about, maybe somewhere between 3,000, 4,000 pages,” she said, offering a number at least ten times what has been reported by mainstream outlets.

“We cannot somehow be so disgusted that looking at what has been released that we think we’ve been lost. We haven’t lost,” Waters told the audience.

“We haven’t seen the whole report. We don’t know what the other evidence is,” she said, holding out hope that she’ll eventually be able to get Trump.

“The Congress of the United States of America has a responsibility for oversight and investigation,” Waters said.

“And for those of use sitting on the sex— six, rather, committees that have the responsibility for oversight and investigation, we are going to continue,” she vowed.

On Friday, the New York Times reported Mueller’s report was in the neighborhood of 300 pages, as the reporter mentioned — not the 3,000 to 4,000 Waters suggested.
