Maxine Waters’ congressional town hall meeting was more presidential campaign rally than an update for constituents on Saturday.

The California congresswoman excoriated President Trump, threatening that she is “coming for” him.

Waters eviscerated his cabinet members for their capitalist beliefs and alleged Russian ties.

But a strange moment came when a “pop” sound triggered Waters into thinking that someone was shooting at her.

As Waters was ranting about former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, she said, “Not only did he lie, but he has been going back and forth into Russia for quite some time.

“We know he got paid for a so-called speaking engagement. We know he was sitting right next to Putin, and on and on and on. He wants to get immunity,” she continued as a “pop” sound could be heard.

Waters didn’t duck or flinch, but said, “I’m awfully glad– all I have to say, I don’t know what the sound was, but whoever it is, if it’s a shot, you better shoot straight!”

The audience erupted into cheers.

After smiling broadly, and waving her fist to the adoring crowd, she continued, “And whether we’re talking about (Paul) Manafort, or we’re talking about, um, any of the other — Wilbur Ross, whether we’re talking about Trump’s lawyer Cohen, or whether we’re talking about, um, some of the others that that involved with these allies all around the operation,” Water said.
