Maxine Waters is again demanding that President Trump “shut up”.

The California congresswoman appeared on CNN on Sunday to slam the President as an ignorant leader who doesn’t understand how negotiations or Congress work.

“It is hard to believe that he is prepared to seriously negotiate when he’s making his demands outside of the negotiation already,” Waters said.

“First of all, he’s talking about he’s got to have a certain amount of money. He’s also talking about how terrible it is with the rapists and the drug dealers, on and on and on.

“That’s not how you enter a negotiation,” Waters declared. “You shut up and you shut down and you get into the negotiation and you legitimately lay your concerns on the table and people are prepared to talk about what they can and cannot do.”

Waters contended Trump “put this country in danger” with the partial shutdown.

“He doesn’t understand the role of the three branches of government,” Waters said.

“He thinks he can just run over the House and the Senate, but we’re proving that he can’t do that,” she said.

It’s not the first time Waters has told Trump to shut up.

During an interview on MSNBC’s “AM Joy” in November, Waters claimed that the Republican Party fears “strong, black” women like her. She also said she wished Trump would “keep his mouth shut” about the issues plaguing her home state of California.

“That’s the opposition talking about what would happen if this strong, black woman Maxine Waters is the chair of the Financial Services Committee,” Waters said.

She added, “They’ve never seen anybody like me before. There’s never been a woman in the history of this country that’s been the chairperson of the Financial Services Committee, and certainly never a black woman.”
