Is Twitter protecting Maxine Waters from Americans’ free speech?

Twitter user @Zagreus66 posted a video showing his attempt to post a statement critical of the California Congresswoman.

“WOW! Twitter is censoring my posts! It won’t let me post a funny tweet regarding Maxine Waters memes,” he tweeted, along with a video showing an attempt to post a link to “The Best Anti-Maxine Waters Meme of ALL TIME” on thefederalistpapers.org.

Upon loading the text and link, a message appears saying, “Tweet not sent. We’re sorry, we weren’t able to send your Tweet. Would you like to retry or save this Tweet in drafts?”

After tapping “Retry” several times, the tweet still wouldn’t post.

Earlier this year, Waters was accusing critics of being Russian bots.

One user, @TrueJackDaniel, didn’t appreciate it.

“We’re not Russian bots, you retard,” he tweeted, which he says resulted in a 7 day suspension.

“Nobody believes a crazy old lying lunatic in a bad wig.”

Daniel was forced to delete the tweet. His account no longer exists.

Chalk one up for Maxine and crazy old lying lunatics in bad wigs.
