Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thinks it’s “absurd” that she has 66 different Gold level health insurance plans, mostly paid for by taxpayers.

Sorting all of the plans out is “something no one should go through,” she said in her latest pitch for Medicare For All on Twitter Sunday.

“Members of Congress also have to buy their plans off the exchange. They are Gold plans that are partially subsidized,” AOC posted, along with a picture of the government website with a total of 66 available plans.

Extremely simple instructions greet the viewer at the top of the page that explain how users can sift through the results.

“Find a quality, affordable health insurance plan that’s right for you, or for you and your family. Use ‘Filter Results,’ ‘Compare’ and ‘Details’ features to narrow your choice. When you find the plan you want, ‘Select Plan,’” the website reads.

It was all too much.

“That means I get to ‘choose’ btwn 66 complex financial products,” AOC tweeted. “This is absurd. No person should go without healthcare, &no one should go through this, either.”

There’s more.

“While I a VERY thankful to finally have health insurance, it is a moral outrage that it took me *getting elected to Congress* for that to happen,” she posted. “The US needs to become an advanced society. That includes establishing healthcare as a right to all people.”

The freshman lawmaker essentially argues that the government isn’t very good at running the health insurance market, so taxpayers should invest even more to give government bureaucrats monopoly control.

“And as someone who has now experienced many parts of the insurance spectrum (being uninsured, underinsured, and adequately insured) I don’t see how anyone can think our current healthcare system only needs a 10% improvement or just a few tweaks,” AOC tweeted, a shot at less socialist Democrat presidential candidates who would rather revamp Obamacare.

“We need #MedicareForAll,” she posted.

Ocasio-Cortez then encouraged her followers to sign up for government health insurance, despite her complaints about the overwhelming number of choices.

“And once again, make sure to get insured if you can at healthcare.gov,” she wrote. “Yes, it’s a pain. But it is worth it. I know some folks are bristling at the fact that I am pointing that out, but we have to acknowledge the reality so we can move forward together.”

There are, of course, a few realities that didn’t make it into AOC’s Twitter thread.

Fox Business reports a Medicare for All system “would require an additional $34 trillion in federal spending during its first decade in operation, according to a study published by the Urban Institute and Commonwealth Fund.”

It would also mean millions of Americans would be forced to give up private health insurance plans they like to join the government-run system.

And while AOC’s preferred presidential candidate, Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders, claims the rich will pay for much of it, he admits his plan will raise taxes on all income over $29,000.

“Is healthcare free? No, it is not,” Sanders told Stephen Colbert in September. “So what we do is the first $29,000 of a person’s income. You make less than $29,000, you pay nothing in taxes. Above that, in a progressive way, with the wealthiest people paying the largest percentage, people do pay more in taxes.”

Regardless, folks on Twitter didn’t hesitate to set AOC straight about her high-class problems.

“Earns $174,000 a year, has a choice of 66 government subsidized healthcare plans and still complains,” Impeach This posted. “Go figure.”

“How dare them give us choices to best suit our life,” Joshua Wallace wrote.

“I’m so sorry that you have to take the time to read through 66 premium plans that the American taxpayer will have to pay for,” Baylor Cook wrote. “Your life is *so* hard.”

“Wow, so many options!” Molly Prince wrote. “Life must be really hard.”

“We don’t need health insurance and neither do you,” SeeRich555 added. “We only have about 10 years left!”
