Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has only been a member of Congress for roughly three months, and she’s already tired of having to work.

The New York socialist took to her Instagram story on Wednesday night to complain about having to “work all the time” as a member of Congress.

“Okay guys, I’m just getting out of work, that’s my office behind me,” Ocasio-Cortez began.

“Um the thing they don’t tell you about working in Congress is that if you do what you’re supposed to do, you’re working all the time, which means you have no time to set up your life,” she added.

Her video was captioned: “NYC Alert: in DC things close way earlier so it’s very hard to get things when you leave work at 8:30pm, AKA I’ve been here 2 months and I don’t own a chair.”

She went on to complain about not having any furniture in her new apartment, which is so fancy and uppity that poor people are literally forbidden.

“So, I spent weeks sleeping on an air mattress, and I don’t own a chair. So, I’m gonna try to do that,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Ocasio-Cortez, who makes $174,000 a year as a member of Congress, continues to complain on social media about her second place and stocking it with furniture.

Earlier this year, the New York socialist lawmaker lamented about the difficulty of affording one apartment.

Now, as a member of Congress making serious money, she’s complaining about the financial stress of “needing” a second apartment and getting furniture for it.

Ocasio-Cortez’s new building in the nation’s capital is part of a luxury complex and does not offer affordable units under Washington, D.C.’s Affordable Dwelling Units program.

This essentially means poor people are not allowed to live in this luxurious apartment complex.

In true socialist fashion, Ocasio-Cortez has gone from complaining about affording one apartment to now making $174,000 a year and making a fuss about getting a second apartment.

And now she is upset about having to “work all the time.”
