Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spent her Sunday night teaching her supporters a valuable lesson: how to re-pot a plant.

The New York socialist lawmaker took to Instagram to live stream herself for about 20-minutes while she moved a plant from one pot to another.

One of the funniest moments came when Ocasio-Cortez tried to open a bag of potting soil, failed, and set it down to continue talking to the camera while trying to play it cool.

As evidenced in the images below, around 5,800 people were always watching her video live from start to finish.

It’s unclear why it took her 20-minutes to re-pot one small plant, but she didn’t spare any details and literally showed her viewers everything.

Ocasio-Cortez didn’t spend too much time talking about politics in her video, which is odd given she had quite a few interesting moments last week.

The New York socialist took to her Instagram story last week to complain about having to “work all the time” as a member of Congress.

“Okay guys, I’m just getting out of work, that’s my office behind me,” Ocasio-Cortez began.

“Um the thing they don’t tell you about working in Congress is that if you do what you’re supposed to do, you’re working all the time, which means you have no time to set up your life,” she added.

She went on to complain about not having any furniture in her new apartment, which is so fancy that poor people are literally forbidden.

“So, I spent weeks sleeping on an air mattress, and I don’t own a chair. So, I’m gonna try to do that,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

Prior to that, the socialist lightning questioned the CEO of one of the largest financial institutions in the world and accused the bank of being “involved in the caging of children.”

The hearing on Tuesday before the House Financial Services Committee was created by Democrat Chairwoman Maxine Waters, which was titled, “Holding Megabanks Accountable: An Examination of Wells Fargo’s Pattern of Consumer Abuses.”

Wells Fargo CEO Timothy Sloan was the first “megabank” chief summoned by Waters to appear before the committee to answer questions about how the bank operates.

But Ocasio-Cortez had other ideas, and used a major chunk of her time to push her political agenda against Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and awkwardly accused the bank of being complicit in “caging children.”

“Why was the bank involved in the caging of children and financing the caging of children to begin with?” Ocasio-Cortez asked.

“I don’t know how to answer that question because we weren’t,” Sloan shot back.

“Uh, so in finan-, you’ve,” Ocasio-Cortez began, stuttering and muffling through papers. “You were financing, involved in debt financing in CoreCivic and GEO group, correct?”

“For a period of time, we were involved in financing one of the firms, we are not anymore. I’m not familiar with the specific assertion you are making, we were not involved in that,” Sloan responded, making it clear that there was absolutely no basis for Ocasio-Cortez’s politically-infused allegation.

For the record, there is absolutely no proof or evidence that the Trump administration is “caging children.”

Last Monday, she rebuked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and said that impeaching President Donald Trump is “not off the table.”

Ocasio-Cortez didn’t address any of that in her Instagram video on Sunday, but at least people know how to re-pot a plant.
