House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi may have spoken only five minutes to once again denounce the Trump tax cut on Tuesday, but it may have felt like an eternity for Democratic handlers.

Surrounded by a large group of people, Pelosi began reciting a portion of the Gettysburg Address, before realizing it wasn’t in her script.

“Today the House will decide whether we have a government for the people, of the— or a government only for the privileged…” she said, attempting Lincoln’s famous line before stopping.

Pelosi claimed the tax cut “money it sucks up to the higher income,” and added it was a “dus-gusting smash and grab,” botching “disgusting.”

Moments later, calling it the “G-O plan,” forgetting the “P,” she said the bill would go down as “one of the most scangalous acts of plutocracy in our history,” flubbing “scandalous.”

The most cringe-worthy time came as Pelosi attempted to bring attention to the “faith leaders,” assembled behind her, but instead, called them “faith healers.”

“Today, we’re bringing the voices of the American people — voices of children, families and faith healers— faith leaders,” she said, rolling her eyes.

“Healers, too,” she continued. “We may need some faith healers,” she said, giggling.

Republicans passed the tax cut plan and President Trump is expected to sign the bill.
