House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic colleagues gloated Friday evening after Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the Obamacare replacement bill from consideration.

Pelosi said she takes “great pride” in passing and defending Obamacare.

Saying they’re “very very proud” of their vote, Pelosi claimed Obamacare is about “honoring the vision of our Founders — life, liberty, pursuit of happiness.”

She continued by also making a statement that secular progressive advocates for so-called “the separation of church and state” might abhor — if she was a conservative.

“Honoring our faith-based initiatives to just minister to the needs of God’s creation as an act of worship,” Pelosi said.
