“Pencil-neck” Rep. Adam Schiff doesn’t deserve to serve as chairman of the House intelligence committee, and he should be removed immediately for misleading the public about the Russia investigation.

That’s the gist of the “PENCIL Act” filed Wednesday by Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida, who highlights Schiff’s repeated unfounded allegations against Trump, as well as the congressman’s unnaturally slim neck.

“#BREAKING: Today I filed the ‘PENCIL Act,’ expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that ‘Congressman Adam Schiff should be removed from the House Intelligence Committee and his security clearance immediately revoked,” Gaetz posted to Twitter with a copy of the resolution.

The document points out that Schiff is among the “Gang of Eight” members of Congress with access to “America’s most sensitive intelligence,” and Schiff has repeatedly abused that privilege to deceive Congress and the country.

It cites specific instances in March and December 2017 that Schiff publicly alleged Trump colluded with Russians to win the 2016 election, a claim he continued to February 2019, when he said there is “ample evidence of collusion of the campaign” with Russia, according to the PENCIL Resolution.

The legislation also points out that Schiff has refused to repent after Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s two-year investigation yielded zero evidence of collusion.

“Congressman Schiff continues to claim there is ‘ample’ evidence of Trump-Russia collusion ‘in plain sight’ without offering any evidence to prove his claims,” the resolution reads. “Congressman Schiff has proven himself untrustworthy by advancing falsities about the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, as relating to unfounded allegations of collusion with the Russian Federation.”

The PENCIL Resolution concludes:

It is the sense of the House of Representatives that Congressman Adam Schiff should be removed from the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House and that his security clearance should be revoked immediately.

With Democrats controlling the House, there’s virtually no chance Gaetz’s bill will receive any meaningful consideration, but it’s obviously designed more to mock Schiff for lying to the public than anything else.

The title itself is a jab in Schiff’s eye, first instigated by the president himself at a rally in Grand Rapids Michigan just days after the principle conclusions of Mueller’s report were made public.

“Little pencil-neck Adam Schiff. He’s got the smallest, thinnest neck I’ve ever seen,” Trump told thousands at the massive rally. “He is not a long-ball hitter, but I saw him today, ‘Well we don’t really know, there still could have been some Russia collusion.

“Sick, sick,” Trump said. “These are sick people and there has to be accountability because it is all lies and they know it’s lies.”
