Attorney General Eric Holder may be busy, but he’s not too busy to travel to New York to attend a birthday party.
Al Sharpton posted a picture on Instagram of himself (mugging for the camera, of course), his 30-something girlfriend Aisha McShaw, Holder and singer Aretha Franklin at the 73rd birthday party for the Queen of Soul.
It took place last weekend.
The celebration was held at the Ritz-Carlton in New York City, a place teeming with One Percenters dripping in white privilege.
“She’s a woman of great influence, woman of great beauty,” Holder said, according to RTT News. He added his go-to Aretha song is “Until You Come Back To Me.”
Lee Daniels, director of “The Butler,” was also in attendance — as was music mogul Clive Davis.
