Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats love to selectively cite the Bible to attack the Republicans, but the House Minority Leader struggled to do that today as she stumbled through reciting a passage of the Word, and could barely say “pope.”

Holding tiny American flags during the politically opportune moment, several Dems paraded before the microphone to denounce President Trump and an immigration policy in existence since at least the Obama administration.

While trying to recite a Bible passage, Pelosi struggled mightily.

“The fact is the Bible, in the words of Jesus himself, he said— when, when people brought children, little children to Jesus to place His hands on them and pray for them, Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.’ And then he placed his hands on them,” she said.

Moments later, it wasn’t clear if she was attempting to say “prayerful” or “powerful,” as she said “payerful place.”

Pelosi devovled into stuttering as she tried to attack Trump with the pope.

“P-p-p-po-Pope Francis this morning said, ‘We encounter Jesus in those who are poor, rejected and refugees,” she said.

Why was she having such a hard time talking about the Bible and Christianity? Feeling the heat over supporting abortion, Nancy?
