Democrat presidential hopeful Robert “Beto” O’Rourke is a master of multitasking.

The former congressman from Texas recently demonstrated his abilities in a live video cooking his rendition of cheese burgers, the latest in a series of broadcasts featuring the candidate doing everyday tasks.

O’Rourke not only completed the unappetizing entree, he also managed to contradict his stated concern about climate change, embarrass real Texans, and ruin a Teflon cooking pan all at the same time.

The video shows O’Rourke in a very nice kitchen with four pans roaring on the stove top – two with one burger each and a larger pan with two patties, as well as a covered pan.

O’Rourke opened a fresh slice of processed cheese food substance and slapped it down on one the burgers, slightly off-center. Seconds later, O’Rourke scooped up the tiny patty as the cheese substance melted into the pan, then placed the “cheeseburger” on a freshly buttered English muffin, beside two broccoli florets.

“Hold on, ok, because there’s more,” he said as he turned back toward the stove.

O’Rourke placed a second patty with processed cheese atop the first.

“Hold on, hold on. There’s more,” he said, adding several slices of raw white onions to his culinary creation.

Viewers had a lot of questions.

“Hot takes only …” posted to Twitter:

A list of things wrong with this video (a thread):

  1. A Texan making a burger in a frying pan.
  2. He’s using Kraft singles. Look at his kitchen. It’s beautiful. Processed cheese shouldn’t be allowed in that kitchen.
  3. And he doesn’t even put the cheese on square.
  4. Why is he making 1 burger in 2 pans and 2 burgers in the other pan?
  5. NEVER USE A METAL SPATULA ON A TEFLON FRYING PAN. NEVER EVER!

“I have a whole lotta questions about the video of Beto making burgers,” Jennifer Hayden wrote. “1) Why so many pans? 2) Are those English muffins? 3) Metal spatula on nonstick? 4) With all those pans, couldn’t sautee those onions?”

“He lost the Wisconsin vote as soon as he unwrapped that ‘cheese,’” JJ added

Others mocked O’Rourke for burning up gas with three pans when only one was necessary, and his apparent support for eating double meat servings, both of which conflict with his alleged mission to save the planet from climate change.

“’Eating burgers is killing the planet!’ ‘OMGGG LOOK HOW DREAMY BETO IS WHILE COOKING HAMBURGERS’ same damn people,” Laura Whittington posted.

“With 3 burners going and individually wrapped processed cheese food …” NurseBananahammock added.

“Haha! I guess he’s not behind the #GreenNewDeal and eliminating cows!” Rachel AP wrote.

“Fighting the environment, three burners at a time,” Teddy Brosevelt posted.

The video follows other titillating O’Rourke experiences livestreamed to his adorning fans in recent months, including O’Rourke jogging, changing a tire, flying on a plane, getting a haircut, going to the dentist, carrying a chair, and making his wife’s “amazing spaghetti.”

The clips are obvious attempts to connect with younger voters, but many folks doubt they’re having the intended effect, while others are becoming outright offended by the pandering.

“This doesn’t help him the way he thought it would,” Carl Gustav wrote.

“2 points I want to make about @BetoORourke now that I’ve heard from his fanatics … 1. Yes, it is awesome that he feeds his family 2. He’s from Texas & he put a damn hamburder in a skillet & then put it on an English muffin & you expect me to just lay down & take this?!?!?!” Jason Howerton posted.

“This isn’t even about politics to me anymore, y’all! He is representing Texas on a national stage and I am TRIGGEREDDDDDDDD by what he is doing to my great state.”
