A southern California car dealership is hoping a Spanish-language TV ad will boost sales among Hispanics.

But it’s not the language they hope will do that, but rather what employees are doing in the ad.

It features Nissan of Van Nuys general sales manager Martin Cuevas and another man beating a blond-haired, blue-eyed figure resembling Donald Trump with a broom stick several times outside the dealership’s front doors.

The Los Angeles dealership will air the commercial on KVEA-TV, an affiliate of Telemundo, The Blaze reports.

According to The Blaze, the commercial refers to Trump as “Trumpudo” — “seemingly a play on the Spanish adjective ‘trompudo’ which means thick-lipped or blubber-lipped.”
