Former first lady Hillary Clinton rallied the troops in Texas over the weekend at the latest stop in a book tour many speculate is a ruse to segue into the 2020 presidential election.

Dozens of Trump supporters protested outside of The Riverbend Centre in Austin with signs that read “Trump 2020,” “Liar, liar pantsuit on fire” and “Epstein didn’t kill himself” signs as InfoWars’ Alex Jones trolled hundreds headed in with a megaphone, shouting from an armored vehicle.

Inside, Clinton took to the stage to Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing” while former Planned Parenthood president turned moderator Cecile Richards and hundreds in the venue applauded in awe. Chelsea, Hillary’s daughter and co-author, was there too.

The stop was the latest in the duo’s tour to promote a book about “gutsy” women, but like most of Clinton’s recent talks, the focus was largely on 2020.

“There’s a lot going on and I think it’s difficult for many people to make sense of it because we get bombarded by information, much of it not true, endlessly,” Clinton said to the crowd of 2,500. “I am appalled that Facebook is defending the right of political campaigns to put false ads on Facebook.

“And so, there’s nothing easy about what we’re going to be trying to accomplish in the next 365 days,” the twice-failed presidential candidate continued. “So we can’t get discouraged, we have to be resilient. We have to get up every morning and keep working as hard as we can. Register everybody you know to vote, and make sure they do vote.”

Obama’s secretary of state also offered special recognition to Texas Democrat Beto O’Rourke, who quit his campaign for president on Friday.

“I want to give a shout out to Beto O’Rourke for being in that presidential campaign,” Clinton said to applause. “Speaking so heartfelt as he did about so many important issues.

“Look, it is not going to be easy to win,” Clinton continued. “I don’t mean that to be a downer, I mean that to be a spur. Because if we turn out the vote, we will win.”

At least one of Clinton’s critics who managed to get a front-row seat for the talk didn’t hesitate to call her out over her book’s Gutsy Women theme.

YouTube user “Just Another Channel” posted video of a heckler to took objection to Clinton’s hypocritical hubris and posted a video of his disruption and ejection from the talk.

“Each of these women had to overcome their own fears, or insecurities, or what happened to them in life, because so many of them faced unimaginable hardships or terrible,” Clinton said of the historical women featured in her new book.

“Like Juanita Broaddrick?” the heckler shouted at Clinton.

“Did you include Juanita Broaddrick or Paula Jones?” the bearded man yelled, referring to women who publicly accused former president Bill Clinton of rape and harassment. Broaddrick contents Hillary Clinton also attempted to intimidate her into keeping quiet.

Clinton continued talking over the man, who repeated his questions about Bill Clinton’s accusers as he was escorted by security from the building.
